Frank Blake

Founder

Frank Blake is a seasoned executive in corporate America as well as a principal partner in a privately-held investment fund. Frank has held leadership positions in Fortune 15 companies, non-profits, universities, and start-ups. Frank attended Clemson University and served as an Army Captain in Iraq, where he was awarded the Bronze Star.

Tim West

Director

Tim West is a Slow Food chef turned Social Entrepreneur and Food Futurist. He was recognized as one of Zagat’s 30 under 30 Food-World Up-and-Comers for his work producing Food Hackathons and has since served as a Fellow4Good at the Institute for the Future and Global Ambassador to the Future Food Institute. His areas of interest include: mountain biking, climbing, local food systems, food as medicine, and permaculture. He now lives in Bellingham, WA, Pacific Northwest where he plans to get a farm dog.

Jessica Greenwalt

Director

Jessica Greenwalt is a multiple award-winning designer, UX researcher, web developer, strategist, and digital artist.

She’s the founder of Pixelkeet, a research and design firm that helps companies design, build, and launch products that change the world. Previously, Jessica served as the Creative Director of Vayner3, where she developed emerging tech strategies, campaigns, and products for the world’s biggest brands.

Jessica was named one of Inc. Magazine’s 10 Women to Watch in Tech, Tech.co’s “50 Women in Tech Dominating Silicon Valley”, Huffington Post’s “6 Women Rocking Tech for Good”, and Today’s Leading Women’s “Power 50”.

Jay Onda

Director

Jay Onda is an award-winning innovation thought leader bringing over 11 years of corporate venture and innovation experience combined with 15 years of startup experience focusing on UI/UX, products, and customer-centric value creation. He has played a pivotal role in transforming NTT Docomo’s Research Labs in Palo Alto into an open-innovation platform and was one of the founding members of Yamaha Motor Ventures. He serves as an active mentor and advisor to accelerators worldwide and believes in empowering purpose-driven founders and together create a better world for our future generations.

Chenoa Farnsworth

Director

Chenoa is the managing partner of Blue Startups, a top 20 U.S. Accelerator (Techcrunch), located in Honolulu, Hawaii. To date, Blue Startups has invested in 110 companies which have gone on to raise $500 million in venture capital.
She also manages the Hawaii Angels investment network, which has invested over $60 million in over 100 startup companies.

In 2010 she founded Hi Impact, a Hawaii-based impact investment organization which led to the establishment of the Impact HUB Honolulu in 2012, a co-working space dedicated to social entrepreneurs.

In 2006, she co-founded Kolohala Ventures, a Hawai‘i-based venture capital firm that invested $50 million into Hawai‘i-based technology start-ups.

Farnsworth has served the community as chair of the Women’s Fund of Hawai‘i, director of the Hawaii Venture Capital Association, director of the Entrepreneurs Foundation of Hawaii, director of the Impact HUB Honolulu, and judge for the University of Hawai‘i business plan competition.

Paola de Almeida

Director

Paola is an award-winning senior executive with more than 20 years of experience leading strategy, innovation, and business operations in senior leader roles in the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) and consulting industries, focused on value creation strategies across global businesses and supply chains. She was the Chief Innovation Officer for Mars, Inc from 2019 through 2023, spanning a career of over 15 years at the company, and is now leading the Food, Agriculture and Water Portfolio investment strategy for two large sustainable development investment funds at Pegasus Capital Advisors. She is also a senior advisor for the Amazon Investor Coalition (bioeconomy NGO), serving as fractional Chief Operating and Strategy Officer; and she sits on a number of boards, including Sundial Foundation (philanthropic venture capital for minorities and BIPOC angel through seed investments), Affinity Federal Credit Union (financial institution with $4+bn in assets under management) as well as Unveiled (leadership sponsorship for minorities NGO). Her current focus is in helping broad acceleration and scale up of Sustainable Development Goals solutions across multiple sectors and stakeholders particularly in food, agriculture and water systems.
